My dad is wonderful! I checked my voicemail earlier tonight and he had called this afternoon. His message consists of him moo-ing to me (yes, my nickname in the family is Moosie, and it is pronounced with a moo and then a -sie), and after about a minute of moo-ing he goes, "love dad" and hangs up.
Yes, I am grinning.
He is quite a hardass and I even venture to say an asshole, to some. But there is no doubt in my mind that he loves me.
