Well with all of the drama over here yesterday in the UK with the second ash cloud, my flight out today was re-scheduled to this coming Sunday. At least now the airspace has opened, so here's hoping that actually comes to pass.
I'm trying not to go crazy with cabin fever, but it's hard feeling useless. Especially when I'm missing so much work, and I had to cancel a weekend trip with my best friend in nyc, and I had to cancel a gig at Columbia. All because the airlines had to deal with six days of closed airspace here. But what can you do? Mother nature wins, especially when it's a volcano.
Ryan and I decided to head to Paris in the morning yall. This is a spontaneous trip we decided to take without his parents today (it looks like they are headed to Scotland). We'll all be back in Cambridge for my last 48 hours here. I've never been to Paris, so this should be fun. :)

Great time both in London the past two days with sight seeing, a trip to Harrod's a taking in a performance of Les Miserables, and then today in Cambridge was had by all. Perfect weather plus punting down the river Cam (with Ry and Mark, old rugby friends, as our punters) was not only a sight to see, but fantastic fun as well! (Even if we had more than a few collisions with fellow punters - through no fault of our own, I might add.)
El prometido and I taking our engagement pictures with the ever talented Mr. (and Mrs.) R all around Cambridge was a lot of fun as well ps. The plan is for me to head back to the states tomorrow - we shall see if the volcanic ash has other ideas in mind.

Volcanic eruption under the Eyjafjallajoekull glacier? We had just landed in LHR this morning when we started hearing of all the flight cancellations (and the eventual closing of the UK airspace).

I hope everyone had a great Easter. Ry and I took a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to take full advantage of the great weather!

There was a photo booth at tonight’s “Yay We’re Sold!” party.
It’s been almost three years since these girls and I toured South America together. We’re still going strong. :)
