1. I got film developed, finally. It makes me happy, to see memories again. For some reason, things seem more real when they're tangible, when I can replicate them for someone else perfectly. :)

2. It was after 1am, and the dad and I were on our way to Milton to pick up the brother after a wrestling tournament at Cherokee:
Him: "You know, people have asked about you, how grades were and all that."
Me: "What'd you say?"
Him: "It's her sophomore year...she's just now figuring things out."
Me: "Yeah, that's pretty acurate."
Him: "You could have taken the easy way out...gone to FSU with the scholarship. But, you're at a Jesuit school, and they're kicking your ass. It's good for you, it builds character."
Me: "All I have so far is a sore ass."
Him: ::laughs:: "It'll get better. Sophomore year is the darkest hour. That's how it was for me at Loyola. The whole time I was thinking, who needs this shit? I could be making money as a cashier at a grocery store. I don't need this aggrivation."
Me: "Exactly."
Him: "You got it, though. Just push on through."

...thanks dad.
