Drum Major Candidates,
Thank you all very much for your participation in the Drum Major training and selection process. This was the most competitive group of candidates in at least five years, and our task of selecting two people from among you to serve as Drum Major and Assistant Conductor was very difficult.
For the 2004 season, we have selected Maria Suarez and Jim Clancy to serve as Drum Major and Assistant Conductor respectively. We encourage any of you who are eligible and interested to apply again for the 2005 season.
It has been a pleasure for me to work with all of you this semester.
Thank you.
