So, in an effort to forget about my current work situation, I have been keeping busy.

A quick recap:

Ryan's 26th birthday was the 28th of September and the celebration was truly an entire weekend event.

Ryan has a lot of friends from UVA who have moved up to NYC to work after each passing the bar. In honor of both his and one of his transplanted UVA friends who also shares the same birthday, a bunch of his old crew from The Range came up for the weekend. Saturday night was spent in Little Italy and near Williamsburg Bridge. My first experience with the L went quite well, but it was a late night and we didn't make it back to Brooklyn until almost 4AM. Sunday I had set up a surprise for Ryan by taking him to see Monty Python's Spamalot. The show was great, despite Clay Aiken's screaming fans. (He actually ended up doing a pretty good job). After that it was off to dinner at Tavern on the Green, a famous restaurant on the southwest corner of Central Park. The food was amazing, the restaurant very Alice In Wonderland meets high society.

Flora and I met up with Diane, also a former BC roommate, who is now at school at Columbia:

Next was a trip to the Outsiders gallery. My favorite pieces:

A stop at Kiosk:

And then hunting down the newest Banksy work:

We've also been to Banksy's newest installation project, The Village Petstore and Charcoal Grill:

And finally, what fall wouldn't be complete without a trip to the pumpkin patch?
