I was in Charlotte and Winston-Salem, NC this past weekend, both braving the awful storm in the northeast and making a cold I had even worse. It was all worth it though to see my brother achieve his dream of being commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army. My dad read him his oath, I practically had to choke back tears, and my mom and I pinned his bars on. The cuatas made it to NC eventually, but missed the actual ceremony. But nevertheless, it was great getting the family together for such a special occasion!
