The familia came up for the Fourth of July. While they only had two full days here, we were able to do a lot! We ate plenty of amazing food, went to the top of the Empire State Building, saw Phantom of the Opera, went to mass at St. Pat's, toured the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island and we spent the evening of the 4th at Chelsea Piers to get a front row seat to the amazing fireworks show over the Hudson River. It was my aunt and uncle's first time to NYC, so a lot of the logistics came as quite the shock. But we managed to get everyone around no problem. Here's hoping we all see each other again soon.
